Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups of any vegan milk substitute
- 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon lemon juice
- 2 cups The Difference Baker Baking Flour (240g)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (or you can sub maple syrup/agave)
- ¼ cup melted vegan butter or butter
Instructions
- Mix the milk, apple cider vinegar, vanilla and lemon juice and set aside for 3-5 minutes. This will make a vegan buttermilk.
- Sift, fluff, or blend the flour, baking soda and salt together.
- Add sugar, melted butter and buttermilk to the flour blend in a large bowl.
- Mix well and portion batter into a greased waffle maker or pan.
- Cook until finished, then serve!
